How long does the appointment last?

It depends on the type of appointment. A routine OB check can take 15 minutes, an annual exam or procedure appointment can take 45 minutes to one hour.

How many individuals may accompany the patient while in the sono room?

Our patients may be accompanied by up to five (5) individuals in the sono room.

Does your practice record ultrasounds/4D sonograms so that the patient may attain a copy?

Yes, ultrasounds/4D sonograms are recorded onto a flash drive which is available for ten dollars ($10.00).  Unfortunately, we cannot provide this data to storage devices belonging to patients due to specific technical aspects.

What is the turnaround time for requesting records? Is there a cost for processing the request?

The turnaround time for patient records requests ranges from fifteen (15) to thirty (30) business days. The cost for processing patient records is twenty-five dollars ($25.00).

At what age do I need to bring my teenage daughter in for an appointment?

If a female teenager is sexually active, has abnormal menses or other type of female health problem, it is recommended she schedule an appointment. A pelvic exam is not a requirement. In an otherwise healthy adolescent an initial visit at 13-15 years of age is recommended to establish a physician-patient relationship.

Can I get a prescription refill if I am overdue for my annual examination?

Yes, however, we do require our patients to have an appointment scheduled for the annual examination before we can issue a prescription refill.
